Vendor Routing Guide

We will create a Vendor Routing Guide (VRG) that will address the implementation of a freight support network management tool to control shipment flows throughout your company's international geographical operations area.

This one-of-a-kind, specially tailored to your need manual shall outline the procedures and methodology of moving freight from manufacturers and suppliers to target destinations in your geography. It shall address Purchase Orders to vendors overseas and assign them responsibilities for adherence to your instructions.

This Manual shall additionally define freight forwarder roles and be a guide to them while handling freight belonging to you.

Customs at destination points must release all imported merchandise before it can be received. Obtaining release before the arrival of the cargo expedites delivery of the merchandise once it arrives within the port limits. In order for freight to be released promptly, your vendor and freight forwarder must co-operate fully and follow the instructions provided in this Operations Manual.

A comprehensive map charting the procedure in importing product shall form a part of this Manual. It will also include a time map and be linked to procedures, guidelines, restraints, exceptions and controls. It will contain internal and external contact information and be solution-oriented.
