Ashok Sadhwani has over 25 years experience in International Trade. He is
familiar with issues relating to global commerce having traveled to more
than 40
countries. He has lived and worked in Hong Kong, Osaka, Dubai, Cairo,
Singapore, Bangkok, Calcutta and Los Angeles.
Ashok's business skills include global trade compliance in import and export operations,
international trade education and training, shipping and logistics, letters of
credit and trade automation. His specialization covers Customs Law, the
Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and the International Traffic in
Arms Regulations (ITAR).
Ashok teaches courses in import and export at UCLA Extension, Los Angeles,
as well as for the Business school in Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok, Thailand. He is a licensed U.S.
Customs Broker.
He has also worked in projects for various governments including Thailand, Bhutan and Fiji as well as
completed projects in Southern Sudan and The Philippines for non-government
organizations (NGO's) such as USAID and the European Commission. |
